We are proud to share that on May 23–24, BMU’s Deputy Rector of Postgraduate Programmes and Internationalisation, Professor Lionel Huntley Henderson, participated in the International Conference on China-France Digital-Intelligent Integration at the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) in China!
Hosted jointly by HIT, emlyon business school, and the China Information Economics Society, the conference brought together global academic leaders to discuss data science and cross-domain innovation.
Professor Henderson participated in an international higher education leadership panel alongside representatives from French, Chinese, Russian, and Belarusian universities, where he presented the BMU model as a unique combination of UK quality assurance standards, social impact, internationalization, and a proactive approach to artificial intelligence. During the visit, he also held successful bilateral meetings with the leadership of emlyon business school, including Dean of Programmes Mark Smith, Dean of the Asia Campus Xing Wen Long, and Associate Dean Nikola Zivlak, to discuss and explore potential future educational collaborations.
We extend our gratitude to the host institutions for an incredible event and look forward to fostering strong, collaborative relationships with our global peers!
