Application & Tuition Fees for Bachelor's Programmes

General Requirements

• Successful completion of the BMU Foundation Programme or an equivalent international foundation programme recognised by the University
• Successful completion of the first year of an undergraduate degree course at a recognised higher education institution in Uzbekistan or abroad
• Completion of at least twelve (12) years of secondary education under an internationally recognised curriculum
• Any other equivalent qualification allowing entry to a UK higher education undergraduate course (e.g. International Baccalaureate)
• Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least seventeen (17) years of age by 31 December in the year of registration    

 

English Language Requirement

• An IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no individual component below 5.5, or an equivalent score on Aptis ESOL: Advanced level (minimum C1+)
• Completion of secondary education through the medium of English with a grade C or above in GCSE English or its equivalent
• Successful completion of a recognised international foundation programme with a pass in an Academic English module
• Scholarship Note: Applicants with IELTS 7.5 or above (no component below 6.5) may be considered for a 50% tuition scholarship

 

Mathematics Proficiency Requirement

GCSE pass in Mathematics (grade C/4 or above) or an equivalent qualification. In addition to the above, applicants must also have one of the following:

• Pass in the Quantitative Methods I (QM I) module on the BMU Foundation Programme
• Pass in the BMU Mathematics Entrance Examination
• An SAT Mathematics score at the threshold specified by the University

 

Direct Entry (Year 2) Summary

Allows qualified students to skip the Foundation year and start directly at the undergraduate level.

• Requires 12+ years of international secondary education or successful completion of Year 1 at another recognised university
• Minimum IELTS 6.0 (no component below 5.5) or equivalent (Aptis ESOL Advanced C1+) and fulfilment of the Mathematics Proficiency Requirement
• Previous university studies and alternative qualifications are evaluated on a case-by-case basis via official transcripts by the Admissions Committee    

 

Required Documents

• Identity Documents: Valid passport, ID card, or birth certificate
• Digital Photo: Size 3 × 4 cm, colour, passport-style, front-facing, on a plain light background (JPEG or PNG)
• Academic Records: Copies of previous education certificates and transcripts (International Foundation, International Baccalaureate, University transcripts, A-levels, or documents proving 12-year education)
• Proof of English Level: Valid IELTS certificate or approved equivalent (Note: No internal English examinations are accepted for undergraduate admission)
