Shokhrukh Azimov

Shokhrukh Azimov is a skilled and dedicated EAP-ESL Instructor with significant experience in teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and English as a Second Language (ESL) across diverse educational settings in Uzbekistan.  Throughout his career, Shokhrukh has held teaching roles at the National University of Uzbekistan, Kokand University, and currently at British Management University, where he designs comprehensive lesson plans, develops curricula, and facilitates academic growth. His expertise includes lesson planning, curriculum development, and teaching methodology integration. He is committed to fostering a student-centered approach that promotes effective communication, creativity, and academic success.

 

Shokhrukh holds an MA in TESOL from Webster University, where he achieved a 3.1/4 GPA, and a BA in English Language and Literature from Kokand State Pedagogical Institute, where he earned a 3.4/4 GPA. He is also proficient in both English (C1) and Russian (C1), which enhances his ability to work with diverse student populations.

 

His research includes publications in various journals, with a focus on the impact of English in global technology industries, English accents in academic contexts, and the influence of internet memes on language and grammar.
